4.Sound Insulation, Thermal Insulation, Shock Absorption & Vibration Screening
The materials for sound insulation, thermal insulation, shock absorption and vibration screening mainly include:Flame-retarding panels, acoustic wool composite materials, shockproof panels, etc.
Flame-retarding Panels:with functions of sound insulation, thermal insulation and screening for cabin electronic devices against low frequency
Acoustic Wool:with functions of sound insulation, thermal insulation, shock absorption and screening against low frequency
Fabric Wrap:with functions of sound insulation, thermal insulation, screening against high frequency and sound absorption, as well as protection for acoustic wool against seepage of liquids, e.g. rain, oil, etc.
Note:the wrapped acoustic wool is in a sealed status.
Aluminum Honeycomb :with functions of sound insulation, thermal insulation, shock absorption and screening against high frequency; Glass fiber or carbon fiber: sound insulation, thermal insulation and protection for acoustic glass fiber or carbon fiber against seepage of liquids into honeycomb materials, e.g. rain, oil, etc.
Paper Honeycomb : with functions of sound insulation, thermal insulation, shock absorption and screening against low frequency; Glass fiber or carbon fiber: sound insulation, thermal insulation and protection for acoustic glass fiber or carbon fiber against seepage of liquids into honeycomb materials, e.g. rain, oil, etc.
Foam Composite Materials: with functions of sound insulation, thermal insulation, shock absorption and screening against low frequency; the materials have better performances as foams can be covered by membranes, glass fiber or carbon fiber, however, different materials have different performances.
Damping Board: shockproof wool, with functions of sound insulation, thermal insulation, shock absorption and screening against low frequency
Al-covered Skin: with functions of screening against high frequency and protection for shock-proof wool
